Jesse Owens broke the color barrier, just like Jackie Robinson. Today we are going to talk about their similarities and differences. They have many similarities and differences, but I will discuss the most important in my opinion. Jesse Owens ran track moved and had a great coach to help him that gave him xtream confidence.
From the New York times. Jesse Owens moved to Cleveland Ohio and found his love for track and field. His coach changed him on and off the field. But all of that is because of his parents, his parents had the idea of moving, Jesse didn’t want to, but he was glad he did. Jackie also had his parents help him Rachel Robinson (Jackie wife) he also had kids that helped him too. Jackie ran track against Jesse once Jesse beat him by steps.
Jackie played 4 sports from a kid tell he was 42 what an incidence his number was 42. He played track, baseball, football and basketball. Owens had more medals because he made it to the Olympics with his track team. Although Jackie didn’t win as many medals, he was named the best all-around sports player.
There are many similarities and differences that led them to success, but I think these are the most important. And they both had great success in life. On the fields court or track they did well.
