Mallory had always wanted a horse. But her parents always said no, though they had a huge yard. She had 7 brothers and sisters. Bryon, Jordon, Adam (triplets 10), Vanessa (9), Nicky, (8), Margo (7), Clare (6). It was Christmas time. Lots of bells ringing, lots of lights, lots of caroling. The kids thought it was awesome. Mallory was incredibly sad. She THOUGHT she would not get the Golden Palomino she really wanted. She still asked for one though.
It was Christmas day. Everyone dashed downstairs! Mom took Mallory out to the backyard. There was a GOLDEN PALOMINO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“I got an offer from the ARL that they could take care of her,” Mom said. Mallory was beaming. She named her horse Ressie.
